As a Romantic Retreat we are not suitable for small children. All children staying in a room must be accompanied by an adult.

If you do not receive your emailed confirmation within a day of making your reservation please contact us to ensure your reservation has been properly made.

Check in is between 3 PM and 6 PM. Having no employees we wear all the hats required to operate our Bed and Breakfast. Therefore although we support your eagerness to get your well deserved vacation started early, we cannot accommodate early arrivals. This includes the dropping off items and luggage.

We are happy to accommodate a later check-in with prior notice. If you are held up in traffic or think you may be arriving later than your estimated arrival time please give us a call. If by 6 PM there has been no communication and no prior arrangements for a late arrival have been made you may be considered a “No show” and the credit card holding your room may be charged. As we are owner operated and have no employees, without prior notice there may be no one present to check-in a later arrival, thus your room may not be held. We strive to provide great customer service but need your prior notice to accommodate this request.

Reservation Policy

Major credit cards to hold the room. Cash or personal check is preferred upon arrival. Making your reservation denotes that you are aware of and accept our reservation and cancellation policies posted on this web site.

If one room is reserved we hold your room with your credit card but it is not charged until your arrival. For Holidays and Special Events we have a 30 day Cancellation policy and your card may be charged at the time of reservation. If all or a portion of your stay is re-booked you will be refunded that portion less 8% processing fee.

International reservation: 

When booking a reservation from outside of the country 1/2 of your stay will be charged to the card holding your room at the time confirmation. There is a 30 day cancellation policy. If you cancel within 30 days of your reservation this amount will be refunded to you less any fees we incur for the charge and reversal. Otherwise your balance is due on arrival. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to your stay!

Group Reservations (More than one room reserved by the same party)

We love to accommodate groups but generally if any party within the group needs to cancel, some or all members of the group will also cancel. This can make it difficult to get all the rooms re-booked with in our usual 14 day period. For this reason we require a 30 written cancellation for each room. We prefer there be no misunderstandings about a cancellation. Therefore cancellations must be in writing. Email is acceptable. To ensure your cancellation was received it is your responsibility to be sure you received our cancellation email. Otherwise you may be charged for the stay.

When group reservations are made each room will be charged one half at the time the reservation is made. For this reason it is best if each party use their own credit card to reserve their room. If a cancellation is received at least 30 days prior to your reservation the party cancelling will be refunded their full amount less a 8% processing fee. If you cancel less than 30 days of your reservation you are responsible for the entire stay. If we are able to re-book any portion of your stay we will refund that amount less an 8% processing fee.

Reservations are only valid for the names listed on the confirmation.

Rooms are restricted to two people maximum, including children.

Room rates are subject to change and do not include 9% county bed tax and 1% Tourism Marketing District assessment.

Cancellation Policy

Due to our small size cancellations affect us significantly. Because people don’t generally cancel at the last minute because of an event that they have foreseen, they are the hardest part of this job. To allow sufficient time to re-book, we require a 14 day notice of cancellation (30 days for holidays, special events, or if more than one room has been reserved for the same party.) If you cancel your reservation within the 14th day of your reservation (30 days for holidays and special events, or if more than one room has been reserved for the same party) you are held responsible for the whole stay. If we are able to re-book any portion of your stay that portion will be refunded less a 8% processing fee. These policies apply if all or a portion of your reservation has been cancelled. Breakfasts

Our breakfasts are prepared with the freshest of ingredients including seasonal herbs and vegetables from our garden and our local Farmer’s Market. We prefer to use organic ingredients.

Please let us know prior to arrival of special diets or food allergies. (I have several gluten free recipes, that I love to prepare, but need prior notice to ensure I have the needed ingredients.)

We serve custom bacon and sausages from our local butcher.
